About Jacqueline

Jacqueline is a litigation lawyer and a founding partner of Spark LLP.

She has a broad and varied corporate/commercial litigation practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex (and not so complex) commercial disputes, class action litigation, and appeals. She has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario and is highly regarded as a skilled, experienced, and tough commercial litigation lawyer.

Splitting her time between Windsor and Toronto, Jacqueline is also an occasional instructor and frequent guest lecturer at University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law. She is also involved in collaborative projects with the University of Windsor, including the Reclaim Pro Bono Project which provide free legal advice and representation to clients who have had intimate images distributed without their consent.

Re-elected as a bencher of the Law Society of Ontario by her peers in 2019, she is serving her third term where she is currently chair of the Technology Task Force and the Proceedings Authorization Committee. She is also a Vice-Chair of the Professional Regulation Committee and the Priority Planning Committee.

In addition to her Law Society duties, Jacqueline is also the Ontario representative on the Council of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. She is a member of the Standing Committee on the Model Code of Professional Conduct and the public Affairs and Government Relations Committee.
